Smash Expression Sessions:

ALL our provided and available add-on smash items are whole clean pieces that were previously to be disposed of and are of natural materials such as glass, ceramic, and wood. These items are gathered from our local non-profit thrift shops!
Additionally these items are environmentally safer to dispose of and don’t add to the ever growing micro-plastic pollution.

A Smash Session isn’t just for your anger.. it’s for pushing your limits, boosting confidence, breaking social norms, fun stress relief, and for expressing all our emotions!

When people hear we have a rage room (smash room) we really want them to know our rage room (smash room) is for anyone that wants to process something visually and physically. Whether that is venting out daily stress, releasing grief, or just a new way to bonding with friends, family, or loved ones. Most smash room participants that come to try out our rage room express it’s a wildly cathartic experience that typically follows with billows of laughter after the tears!

GUIDELINES / REQUIREMENTS

If you are **18 years or older** give our smash room a try! Vent Activity Rooms might just become your new favorite self-care routine. Earn perks and discounts as a returned participant!

Our SMASH room fits a max of 6 participants for your private session.

Is your group larger than 6 people? reserve our lounge to have a f-ing good time! Smash parties that reserve the lounge are able to byo drinks and snacks while kicking it back and taking turns in the smash room.

We DO NOT tolerate any form of racism or discrimination.

If aggressive behavior is displayed towards our property, employees, other participants or oneself you will be deemed unsafe to participate.

Any form of tool/weapon is NOT allowed to be brought into our establishment, and any tool provided in our smash room is NOT allowed to be taken outside the smash room.

$50 PER smash participant includes:

15 smash items (buy more items onsite IF AVAILABLE! $25/extra 15 items), protective gear (coverall sizes XS-6X, helmet with shield, and gloves), room use

1 hour stay:

10 min check in and sign waiver

10 min gear up and room review

30 min SMASH

10 min un-gear and rehydrate

YOU CAN ALSO ‘BRING YOUR OWN SMASH-ABLES’ FOR NO EXTRA COST!

CLEAN GLASS, CERAMIC, and WOOD items only (some items that have minimal metal on them like picture frames are allowed too, but no exceptions for anything electronic!)

What is A Professional Expert Listener?

simply put a Listener is someone who is ready to give you space to VENT

and truly let you feel heard.

Erin created The Unmuted Room from a simple belief..Most people do not need more advice.

They need space.

Her work is grounded in discretion, professional boundaries, and the disciplined practice of listening. Not casual listening. Not reactive listening. Intentional listening. This is not therapy. Not coaching. Not analysis. It is confidential listening for people navigating pressure, complexity, leadership, relationships, and the quiet weight of expectation. Erin holds a steady room where nothing has to be polished, managed, or explained away. You speak. She listens. And clarity begins there.

Here is how this collaborative session will go..

For this 1.5 Hour session we offer the opportunity to have you and up to 6 women to Write It Out with a Listener in our lounge for 30 mins ($70 fee for The Unmuted Room experience) before your 3o min smash session ($50 fee per person for Vent’s Smash Room experience)..this gives the participants time with their listener, before their smash session, to sit down in Vent’s lounge and discuss what brought them in. Whether it’s about what is stressing them out, what mental health struggles they’ve been having, what secrets they’ve been harboring for too long, or any trauma they’ve been working through on their personal healing journey. They’ll take what they told their Listener and write it all out with markers on the provided 15 smash items to take into their smash session and

1.5 hour stay:

10 mins to sign smash waiver with valid ID

30 mins Listening Session in Vent’s Lounge

10 mins to gear up for smash session

30 min Smash Session with up to 6 women total

10 mins to un-gear, cooldown and rehydrate

We source all our items from our local community, our lovely tapas restaurant Moxy, our neighbors at The Wheel House, and 6 local non-profit thrift shops..

Fair Tide in Kittery, Share Fund in Rochester, Echo Thrift in Durham NH, and Second Generation in Greenland NH, and Newmarket Community Church Thrift Shop to help reuse, re-purpose, and reduce waste!
